"Study in Zuel" Freshman Scholarship
Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) is a prestigious institution in China specializing in economics, law, and management. Located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, ZUEL is directly affiliated with the Ministry of Education and is recognized as a key university under China’s “Double First-Class” initiative. The university offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, attracting students from around the world.

To be eligible for this award, the applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport, demonstrate good character, and have no criminal record. Undergraduate applicants must hold HSK Level 5 or above with strong academic performance, while master’s and doctoral applicants must meet language proficiency requirements—HSK Level 5 for Chinese-taught programs or IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 80 for English-taught programs.
Qualified persons are entitled to full or partial tuition coverage, accommodation, living allowance, and medical insurance.
"Study in Zuel" Freshman Scholarship Qualifications
- Be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport, good character, and a friendly attitude toward China with no criminal record.
- Undergraduate applicants must have an HSK Level 5 or above and good academic performance in high school.
- Graduate students applying for programs taught in Chinese must have an HSK Level 5 or above, a GPA of 3.0 or above, and good academic performance in university.
- Graduate students applying for programs taught in English must hold an IELTS score of 6 or above, a TOEFL score of 80 or above, or a certificate proving their previous degree was taught in English, along with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Applicants should not be holding any other scholarship.
