The Medical O
fficer will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and promoting
overall wellness. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care a
nd adhering to medical protocols and standards. This is a full-time position working
from Mondays to Fridays from 8a.m to 5p.m and weekend call duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Clerking new patients for admission
- Managing outpatient department
- Conducting thorough medical assessment and examination of patients; re questing ordered medical investigations for patients, collecting samples and following up with results of investigations
- Attend daily ward round of patients and prescribe ordered medications following rounds
- Prompt documentation of patients medical records on the EMR
- Preparing discharge reports for patients
- Preparing other clinical documentation
- Educating patients and families about their ongoing medical conditions and treatment
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patients care
- Staying informed about advancements in medical practice and treatments
- Adhering to medical protocols, standards and regulations
- Other clinical tasks as assigned by relevant authorities

- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a medical officer
- Proven experience working as a medical officer or in a similar role
- Ability to work independently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
