Wageningen University & Research is offering International PhD Position in Swarming Behaviour of Dipteran Fliers. The project explores how flies and mosquitoes use sensory cues to form swarms, combining fieldwork, lab experiments, and 3D tracking.


To be eligible for this studentship, candidates from all around the world, they must have a recent MSc degree in biology, ecology, ethology, physics, or engineering. They should have good analytical and programming skills (Python, MATLAB, or R), interest in insect behaviour and ecology, and be willing to do fieldwork.
