The University of Gothenburg is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Ethnology or Gender Studies within the Horizon Europe project MAGnituDe, starting January 2026. The position offers a two-year full-time appointment focused on fieldwork, ethnographic research, and the study of migration, affective geopolitics, and European democracy.

To be eligible, applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Ethnology, Gender Studies, or a related field, awarded within the last three years (with exceptions for special circumstances such as parental leave or illness).
