EKSU Notice to Students on Deadline for Screening 2026
Management of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has issued a reminder to newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session. The message is direct: candidates are to upload the required documents on the University portal and complete verification, screening, and registration.

What the Admissions Office Reported
An internal memo from the Admissions Office stated that many candidates who accepted their offers are still yet to upload the necessary documents. The memo also recorded progress as at the date of the notice: 4,688 candidates had successfully completed the process.
That figure sets a clear marker (and it also shows what the Admissions Office is tracking).
Verification, Screening, and Registration
The Admissions Office stated that registration is compulsory. No candidate will be assigned a matriculation number without completing the registration process; the memo made that condition plain.

Candidates are expected to upload their documents for verification and screening, then complete registration through the portal steps required by the University.
Matriculation and Matriculation Numbers
The University noted that the matriculation ceremony will hold soon. Only candidates who have successfully generated their matriculation numbers will be recognised as bona fide students of EKSU.
The University also stated the consequence for candidates who do not act in time: any candidate who fails to generate a matriculation number before the matriculation ceremony will forfeit the admission.
Deadline for Upload and Completion
All affected candidates have been advised to upload their documents for verification and screening on the EKSU portal on or before Thursday, 15 January 2026.
