JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installation Officer with at least 1-year experience in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with codes and standards.
- Interpret and implement solar system designs and schematics.
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine system requirements and installation feasibility.
- Coordinate with project engineers, electricians, and contractors to ensure timely and accurate installations.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on PV systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, and service activities.
- Provide client support and education on system operations and maintenance.
Solar Installation Officer at BlueWave New Energy Technology Nigeria Company Limited Qualifications

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and testing instruments used in solar installations.
- Experience with hybrid systems, battery storage, or solar water heating systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NABCEP, PV Installation Professional, etc.) is an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in various outdoor conditions.
