• Conduct full eye health and vision examinations using advanced diagnostic tools
• Experience in prescribing and fitting corrective lenses
• Educate patients on proper eye care and visual hygiene
• Knowledge of vision therapy techniques 
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with regulatory requirements.

1. Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D) from a recognized institution
2. Certification - Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria; Certificate of Practicing License. 
3. Proficiency with the use of the computer. 
4. Candidates must possess NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption letter. 
5. Excellent problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills 
6. Good time management and organizational skills
7. Attention to detail and a patient-centered approach to care
8. Candidate must reside in Asaba or willing to relocate
9. Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile
10. Minimum of 2 years’ post-NYSC clinical experience.
11. Primaries in Family Medicine will be an added advantage.
