This is a permanent, full-time role that offers the opportunity to oversee key financial processes, support operational and strategic goals, and maintain compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will join a dynamic organization where your financial expertise aids decision-making and drives process improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Review and process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.
3. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial policies and budgets.
4. Prepare financial statements, assist with tax returns and ensure statutory compliance.
5. Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and provide analytical support for budget development.
6. Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
7. Support internal and external audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives within financial operations.
8. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and respond to financial inquiries as needed.

Accountant/Finance Officer at a Renowned Food Catering Company  Qualifications

1. First Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
3. Professional designation such as ACA is an added advantage.
4. Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations is an asset.
5. Excellent analytical, organizational, networking, and communication skills.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality appropriate to the position.
7. Experience collaborating across departments and managing stakeholder relationships.
